An additional investment of $ 672,525 over five years is granted to community organizations that support families in the ridings of Beauharnois and Huntingdon so that they have the necessary means to accomplish their mission.

Deputies Claude Reid (Beauharnois) and Claire IsaBelle (Huntingdon) made the announcement on Friday, on behalf of Family Minister Mathieu Lacombe.

In total, $85 million over five years has been granted to family community organizations (FCO's) in various regions of Quebec. This increased funding will support more than 280 organizations with mission funding of $130,000 per year.

"This is excellent news for families in our region, since the local organizations that benefit from it are involved in supporting parents in need, but also their children. They will have the means to maintain and improve their axes of mission, which, I remind you, are complementary"

"This is excellent news for families in our region, since the local organizations that benefit from it are involved in supporting parents in need, but also their children. They will have the means to maintain and improve their axes of mission, which, I would remind you, are complementary, ”declared Beauharnois MNA Claude Reid.

"So it's important to support our organizations that take care of our families and do a great job. This financial assistance spread over five years can only encourage the development of large-scale projects to better support our families in order to promote better social, cultural and economic vitality in our region. That's excellent news!"

As for his colleague from Huntingdon, Claire Isabelle, “It is therefore important to support our organizations that take care of our families and that do excellent work. This financial assistance spread over five years can only encourage the development of large-scale projects to better support our families in order to promote better social, cultural and economic vitality in our region. That's excellent news!"
